Yahoo Finance now includes option to buy and sell cryptocurrency

Yahoo Finance has recently added the “buy” and “sell” buttons that link users to a crypto broker. Previously the popular finance platform has worked only with traditional forex and stocks. The new crypto trading option is launched via TradeIt API, in the same manner it works with stocks.

Now cryptocoins can be bought and sold with "Yahoooo power"

Now one can trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and watch price dynamic of many others cryptocurrencies. The available brokers are currently Coinbase and Robinhood.

Yahoo’s move is believed to speed up and widespread the cryptocurrency adoption. The company has not yet made a public statement regarding the enabled crypto-trading. Yahoo also actively develops its crypto data monitoring system powered by CryptoCompare.

The Yahoo!Japan announced in March it is going to launch a cryptocurrency exchange in April 2019 or later. The Japanese brunch of Internet giant said it is preparing to buy 40 percent of BitARG Exchange in April and already started to put aside some funds to run an exchange next year.
